Someone asked me if "I had heard some Angels" when I took this photo. I heard and felt it all. It was taken October 13th, one of the rare "moon" pictures I have attempted to capture. It was the end of a Day, the beginning of a night to reflect upon all the support I have received and as the next day I plunged into having the solar system rewired, properly this time… followed by a major dismantling of "Old Faithful", not finding the time to thank everyone individually, I will express it here "Thank You, you are changing the course of my own time"

Back to back I am and have been spending time with two individuals that inspire so much confidence in their doings that I have had to step back and ponder about it. I am always leery, uneasy, uncomfortable when it comes to "trusting" others in mechanical fields with which I am so ignorant and incompetent about. I was never one dismantling engines when I was 16, never one to even understand how a combustion chamber operates or the flow of electricity running through their wires. I have cooked all my Life, I remember, probably only because I was told of it, baking cakes since the early age of 5. Sailing, riding… but just cooking when it came to the mainstream of my own activities and profession.

My solar had stopped functioning properly these past days. Ryan, 250 miles away, appearing as a reader on an RV Forum as I was trying to find answers, stepped forward and landed a hand a couple days ago as we met halfway on a Walmart parking lot. I don’t have any other words but to use the term "genius" as it would be appropriate. A mind that breathes and feels electricity in the same fashion as I feel food in its different stages. Confidence was my first impression, doubts went away and the flow throughout the day toward resolving it all was never interrupted. All is now well, almost wondering how could this be and so disappointed toward the first installer as not only the wiring was wrong but also some safety issues were disregarded.

Yesterday was the start of yet another such positive experience. Spirit does not think so, he is upset about his car now sitting alone and I am only hoping that he understands about it all… It was the day we, and I say "we" generously, as yes, I am helping but truly only following Paul’s guidance as again right away their was this calm feeling emanating from it all. Am I worried? Not at all… as all day he kept telling me "Ara… it is only a bunch of bolts and nuts"!

I have already learned a lot, I call it the "Zen" approach to it all. Things come apart and then they get back together… generally, must be… the same way. It is so simple! But you have to know the steps as Paul does so well. This is major… very major to me! As time was going by and going through the motions of taking "things" apart I kept going "Oh! no… this too?". I finally in my mind gave up as there were more bike parts on the floor than on the lift itself.

I use a torch for "creme brulee", Paul uses a torch to heat bolts so they can come apart… just a slight variation!

Paul even has the special BMW tool that holds the rear of the bike up to allow us (him!) to remove the clutch. Part # R3A54K8E. His approach is so comfortable, logical and I do believe that if I did this a few times I could master it eventually. It is all about the steps. We reached the clutch, the "bologna sandwich" as he calls it, it was the only way he could explain me what a clutch is and did. I understood.

Clutch, right throttle body, throttle cable, brake pads, all fluid changes, valves, rocker arms, external fuel filter, spline lube… just part of what is ahead of us. All is well… I am short on time here as I better get back while I try to appease Spirit!
