A tour of Terlingua…
Friday, December 22nd, 2006As I was putting this pictorial together yesterday, to give you a tour of Terlingua, a feeling descended upon me… and I realized that after almost two months on the road there was a change…
I was in the Zone…it happened… time has lost its value… plans are unplanned… there is no more reasons for them but the inner desires surfacing… I am even moving slower it seems like… there is a harmony in the nights and days that was not here before… a flow that was inexistant… and I am embracing it all… savoring its moments…
This is what this Journey is all about… there is calm, peace and serenity finally to the mind… it is all here and we are going forward with it all… one small step at the time… one moment at the time… live for now as the past is unreachable and the future… well… it is not here yet!

Timelessness……lost in the ‘now’. It’s wonderful, isn’t it? When on the road for two weeks, I fell into that feeling within four days and lost track of time, days, dates. It all became Day One, Day Two… but even that melded together. Each day then assumed a name associated with a place and general event or feeling, such as ‘Discovering Taos’, ‘Moon Canyon Day’, or ‘Lake Day’.
No watch, no calendar, no cell phone. It was truly “No matter where you go, there you are.” 🙂
Yes, it is wonderful. It is truly how life should be lived.

i’ve been checking your site daily for weeks now, i am fan. can’t wait to be in the zone someday myself. merry christmas and thank you for the inspiration. looking forward to seeing where you go in the new year.
